NICEVILLE — In preparation for Hurricane Michael, Okaloosa County's Public Works Department is offering free sand bags and sand for all who wish to take advantage of those services.
The county public works yards where you can pick up these items are:
•1759 S Ferdon Blvd., Crestview.
•Hollywood Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach.
•A third location, the City of Destin Public Works Maintenance Department on Commons Drive, Destin, is giving away sand bags and sand.
