BAKER — The Baker Area Youth Association's cheerleading team seeks donations to support their breast cancer awareness efforts.
"We are trying to raise money to get our [approximately 50] girls some new gear," said Rebecca Morgan, one of the head coaches for the BAYA Gators cheerleading team. "We'd like to get pink poms poms, bows, and socks for October to support breast cancer and many more.
"Any size donation is greatly appreciated or we have a website on which you can order from."
Donors can make checks payable to BAYA cheer in the memo.
"We would also appreciate any paint supplies, paint, and rocks for a fundraiser we hope to do," Morgan said. "Prize rocks are also accepted."
