CRESTVIEW — Childcare Network 132 in Crestview is celebrating being named the Silver Finest award-winning childcare program on the Emerald Coast.
The Finest on the Emerald Coast awards, sponsored by the Northwest Florida Daily News, recognize the best businesses, organizations and people in Northwest Florida.
The team of educators at Childcare Network 132 is led by director Michelle Hooper, a 27-year veteran in the early childhood industry.
"My goal is to make sure each child has a positive and memorable experience that keeps the entire family engaged in their child’s education,” she said. “Each child that attends Childcare Network 132 is provided the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in a school filled with compassionate and caring teachers.”
Michelle and her teachers are especially honored to have been awarded this recognition by people in their community.
"I moved to Crestview, Florida in 2005 as a military dependent," she said. "I love this town because of the city’s overall growth and increasing military presence."
Knowing the value of quality childcare firsthand, Michelle promotes a spirit of community relationship and appreciation in her program.
"The teachers that have worked with my children and grandchildren are amazing and are considered part of our family,” she said. “This is the type of bond I hope to create between our teachers and families at Childcare Network."
