BAKER — Seniors were honored before the game Thursday against the Pensacola Washington Wildcats, in which Baker won 11—3.
Top performers for the Lady Gators were:
- Emily Stewart: 3 for 4, with 2 singles and a double and 3 RBI
- Jolee Sloan: 2 for 3, with 2 singles, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored
- Jayde Henderson: 1 for 2
- Genesis Long: 2 for 4 with a single and a double, 2 RBI and 1 run scored
- Bethany MCranie: 2 for 4 with two singles, 1 run scored and 1 RBI
- Shelby Sloan: 1 for 3 with a triple and 1 run scored
- Josie Mason: 1 for 3 with a single, 2 runs scored and 1 for 1 on stolen bases
- Jennifer Welch: 1 for 3 with a single and 1 run scored.
- Eryn Watson: 3 for 3 on stolen bases
Shelby was also the winning pitcher of the night tossing 7 innings giving up 4 hits while striking out 4.
