CADENHEAD: Crestview chamber welcomes business leaders

Several peopel visit this year's Triple B Barbecue Festival in Crestview. [SPECIAL TO THE NEWS BULLETIN]

CRESTVIEW — Happy spring from the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce. We’ve been busy with our committees, events, and working with our members to make the Crestview community a better place to live, work, and have a successful business.

Here’s a quick look into some of the things we’ve been up to.

Last month we threw the chamber’s biggest event of the year, the Triple B Festival. It was the 14th anniversary of the event and as usual, it was a huge success. The weather was beautiful, we had tons of vendors and activities, and of course… lots of delicious food. You could smell the barbeque from miles away.

We would not have been able to put this incredible event together if not for all of our sponsors: Okaloosa Gas, Asurion, Shoal Creek Rehab, Lee Buick GMC, ReMax Agency One, City of Crestview, Gulf Power, IQOR, Hancock Bank, Childcare Network, Bob Taylor’s Carpet One, New Life International Worship Center, Community Bank, EFCU, Gordon’s Martial Arts, Main Street Land & Title, CHELCO, Okaloosa County Teachers FCU and Legacy Insurance.

Thank you all for your support and your commitment to the Crestview chamber.

We also had many volunteers who worked countless hours putting the event together. Our Triple B chair, Dino Sinopoli of ReMax Agency One, led the team. Congratulations on a job well done.

Last month we also had a great After Hours with host White Sands Podiatry, ribbon cuttings for several new chamber members, an overview of what’s happening with the City of Crestview at the Government Issues Committee, and so much more.

If you are you a business owner, a leader in Crestview and its surrounding areas, or you are looking for a place to promote yourself and make friends in a welcoming environment, then you should consider joining the Crestview Chamber of Commerce.

We would love to have you come to our next breakfast May 5 at the Crestview Community Center. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the program starts at 7:30. A $5 entry fee gets you the opportunity to network with 150 other leaders in the community, and an update on all the great things happening at the chamber of commerce.

And don’t forget the breakfast. Bring your appetite, because Uncle Bill's always brings an incredible buffet of eggs, bacon, hash browns, juice and coffee, and all the yummy things you want in the morning. It’s a real treat and you don’t want to miss it.

Visit our website for a complete calendar of events and meetings at www.crestviewchamber.com. You can also like our Facebook page at "Crestview Area Chamber." We look forward to seeing you and helping you grow your business.
