CRESTVIEW — The qualifying dates for fire commission candidates for the 2018 election cycle in the following Fire Districts will be noon Monday, June 18, through noon Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Supervisor of Elections office locations.
For the Almarante Fire District, Groups 1, 2, 3, and 5 are up for election with Groups 1, 3, and 5 being four-year terms and Group 2 being two years.
All groups in the Baker Fire District are up for election, Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, with 1, 3, and 5 being two-year terms. Groups 2 and 4 are four-year terms.
The Blackman Fire District will also have all Groups up for election, Groups 1-5. Groups 1, 3, and 5 being two-year terms. Groups 2 and 4 are four-year terms.
Dorcas Fire District Groups 1, 3, 4, and 5 are up for election with Group 4 being a two-year term and 1, 3, and 5 being four-year terms.
The Holt Fire District will have Groups 1, 3, 4, and 5 up for election with Group 4 being a two-year term and 1, 3, and 5 being four-year terms.
North Okaloosa Fire District will only have two Groups for election, Group 2 and 4. Both are for four-year terms.
