Nominations sought for Northwest Florida's rural enterprise visionaries

MARIANNA — Farm Credit, a lender and financial service provider for rural communities and agriculture, seeks nominees for top rural enterprise leaders.

Farm Credit 100 Fresh Perspectives nominations will be accepted until Dec. 18, 2015 at www.FarmCredit100.com for these categories:

●leadership (over 21)

●youth leadership (21 and younger)

●rural policy influence

●beginning farmer or rancher achievement

●entrepreneurship and innovation

●sustainability and natural resource conservation

●financial stewardship

●mentoring and volunteerism

●agriculture education and community impact

●rural and urban connection

A panel of experts will evaluate entrants and select the top 100 honorees. These individuals will be celebrated during National Ag Week, March 14-18, 2016.

 Of the Farm Credit 100 Fresh Perspectives honorees, 10 exceptional leaders will each receive a $10,000 award to help further their contributions to thriving rural communities and agriculture.
